Question 1

What is GoTXTai?

Accepted Answer

GoTXTai is a text-message AI service. Its assistant, Emily, lives inside your text messages: you text GoTXTai a question, Emily texts back an answer. No app and no browser — your phone doesn't need internet.

Question 2

Do I need internet on my phone?

Accepted Answer

No. If your phone can send a text message, GoTXTai works — no app, no browser, no data plan needed. Emily herself runs on an internet server, so your question is answered online; you just never have to go online yourself.

Question 3

What can I ask GoTXTai?

Accepted Answer

Just about anything. Questions, explanations, research, current prices and news, product comparisons, writing help, tutoring, brainstorming, decisions, or plain conversation. Emily, the GoTXTai assistant, is a full AI — not a menu of keywords.

Question 4

Can GoTXTai look up current information?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When a question needs up-to-date info — today's news, current prices, recent events — the GoTXTai assistant researches it and summarizes what it finds right in the text.

Question 5

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Pay as you go: $3.99 gets you 100 texts, and you refill only when you want more. No subscription, no contract. If you text a lot, you can subscribe instead for $19.99 a month with 500 texts, refreshed every renewal.

Question 6

What if I run out of texts?

Accepted Answer

Text REFILL and 100 more texts are added right away for $3.99, charged to the card on file. You can also tap Refill now on your account page any time. We'll give you a heads-up text when you're down to 20 so you have time to top up.

Question 7

Do my texts expire?

Accepted Answer

No. Texts you've paid for stay on your account until you use them. Subscribers get a fresh 500 each renewal instead.

Question 8

Does GoTXTai remember our conversation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The GoTXTai assistant keeps track of your recent conversation, so you can keep going without repeating yourself.

Question 9

Can I set it up for someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Signup just needs the phone number that will be texting GoTXTai — it doesn't have to be the same person paying. They only need to text.

Question 10

How do I stop the messages?

Accepted Answer

Reply STOP to any GoTXTai message and it stops immediately. Reply START to turn it back on, or manage your subscription on the website.
