How users consent to receive text messages

GoTXTai is a paid subscription service that lets a person text an AI assistant and receive AI replies by SMS. Messages are sent by GoTXTai only to subscribers who opted in. Consent to receive text messages is optional and separate from creating an account, agreeing to the Terms of Service, or completing a purchase.

  1. A person creates an account on this website and enters the mobile number that identifies their GoTXTai account.
  2. An optional SMS consent checkbox, unchecked by default, is shown separately from the Terms of Service agreement. The person can leave it unchecked and still complete checkout and hold an active subscription.
  3. If the box is left unchecked, GoTXTai does not send the welcome text and does not send AI replies. The person may opt in later by texting START to the GoTXTai number.
  4. If the box is checked, the number receives one welcome text after paid activation confirming enrollment, "Msg & data rates may apply", and HELP/STOP instructions.

Message frequency varies (GoTXTai replies only when the subscriber texts it). Message and data rates may apply. Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP and get help by replying HELP. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and consent information is never bought, sold, or shared with third parties.
