How users consent to receive text messages

GoTXTai lets a person text an AI assistant, Emily, and receive AI replies by SMS. SMS consent is collected through the web signup form shown below, hosted on this website.

  1. A paying account is created on the website and the phone number that will text Emily is entered.
  2. The account holder must affirmatively check a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The form cannot be submitted without it.
  3. After paid activation, the phone number receives a one-time welcome text confirming enrollment, message frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply", and HELP/STOP instructions.

Message frequency varies (whenever the user texts Emily). Message and data rates may apply. Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP and get help by replying HELP. No consent is shared with or obtained from third parties, and consent is not a condition of any purchase other than the GoTXTai service itself.
